Assembly process and principle
1.Initial installation
First, install the impact piston into the outer cylinder body, ensure that the piston can slide freely in the cylinder body, and maintain an appropriate gap with the cylinder wall. Generally, this gap is between a few threads and more than ten threads (1 thread = 0.01 mm) to ensure the smooth movement of the piston and 2.prevent gas leakage.
Install the valve mechanism, fix the valve seat in the corresponding position of the outer cylinder body, and then install the valve core and valve cover. The installation accuracy of the valve mechanism is high, and the fit between the valve core and the valve seat needs to be tight to ensure that the flow direction and on-off of the gas can be accurately controlled under the action of high-pressure gas.
3.Drill bit connection
Connect the selected drill bit to the front end of the impact piston. The connection methods usually include threaded connection, conical surface matching connection, etc. When threading, ensure that the thread engagement length and tightening torque meet the requirements to ensure that the drill bit will not loosen and fall off during the impact process; the conical surface matching connection relies on the friction and clamping force of the conical surface to transmit torque and impact force. The cleanliness and fit of the conical surface need to be ensured during installation.
4.Sealing treatment
Install seals, such as O-rings, oil seals, etc., at various sealing parts of the impactor. The function of the seal is to prevent compressed air leakage, ensure that the pressure inside the impactor can effectively act on the impact piston, and prevent external dust, water and other impurities from entering the impactor and affecting its normal operation. The material of the seal is usually made of rubber or polyurethane with good sealing performance and wear resistance.
Overall debugging
After the assembly is completed, the down-the-hole impactor needs to be debugged as a whole. Connect the compressed air sourc
